What is Salesforce Nonprofit Cloud?
Nonprofit Cloud is Salesforce's current product for mission-driven organizations, covering fundraising, program management, grantmaking and case management. It is built into the Salesforce platform data model rather than delivered as a managed package, which means reporting and automation work the same way they do elsewhere on the platform.
How is Nonprofit Cloud different from NPSP?
NPSP is a managed package layered on top of standard Salesforce objects, while Nonprofit Cloud uses native platform objects designed for nonprofit programs, grants and giving. The practical difference is that Nonprofit Cloud covers program and grant management natively and integrates more directly with newer platform capabilities such as Data 360 and Agentforce.
Do we have to move off NPSP?
No immediate move is required, and the right timing depends on your roadmap, customization depth and reporting needs. Many organizations plan a migration when they are already investing in new program, grant or reporting capability, so the work is done once rather than twice.
Can Salesforce handle program outcomes as well as fundraising?
Yes. Program enrollment, service delivery, case notes and outcome measures can be tracked against the same constituent record as giving history. That is what makes combined impact and fundraising reporting possible without exporting to spreadsheets.
How does AX3 work with small nonprofit teams?
